Whilst our volunteer editors will do their best to ensure our events listings are as up to date and accurate as possible; with the fast pace of how things are changing, it is inevitable that some will slip through the net. If you are planning on travelling for larger events, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly to avoid disappointment. We are putting in place new measures to give event organisers a friendly reminder to see if they wish to remove cancelled events, so we're sorry if it looks a bit bare in here :(

Events this Month

Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot and Vauxfest Car Show on 21st June 2026, 21st June 2026, 7:00 to 13:00 at Stonham CarBoot, Pettaugh Road, Stonham Aspal (14.1 miles)

Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot and Vauxfest Car Show on 21st June 2026

Expecting a busy Stonham this Sunday with Vauxfest Car Show on as well. Brilliant weather and lots of Dads coming to see the Car Boot & The Car Show. Either way always a great buying crowd at Stonham and expecting lots of sellers too.

Another Great weekend and turn out on Sunday. This weekend the weather is looking great and expecting another warm day so hoping for lots of sellers. Either way always a great buying crowd at Stonham. The week after we have a show on as well as the Car Boot.

No booking is needed although we do offer the Covered stalls which can be reserved by texting 07817539168. There are only 20 of them and they are quite unique. They offer a guaranteed spot on the main field near to toilets and food/drink. They are market stalls which have an overhead cover offering shade plus a table-top – once reserved you pull up behind them, unload, sell and then leave them behind. They are £13 for the day and are available for Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays – you can reserve these at any point for any weekend. EVERYONE else can just turn up and sell on the day.

The Thursday Car Boot will be re-opening again in 2026. The first will be Thursday 23rd July and we will stop on 3rd September 2026.

Events run at the same time as the Car Boot so a bigger crowd always expected. The next is Vauxfest on 20th/21st June 2026 followed by B42K on the 12th July 2026 followed by Boundless Creativity on the 19th July 2026. There are lots more which I’ll add as we get closer to them.

If you follow updates on facebook.com/stonhambarnscarboot I announce if we are open on Sundays or just text/call me 0781753968. We will try and open every Sunday even if the weather forecast isn’t great as it’s often wrong.

On Sundays - 7am onwards is when most people arrive at the Car Boot although we cater for early arrivals (sellers) and as late as gone 8.45am.

So come & enjoy the special atmosphere at Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot. It’s unlike all other car boots, full of amazing bargains and is the friendliest in Suffolk.

As usual no booking is needed to sell at the Car Boot so just turn up on the day.

Sundays - Needing to leave early. Pay the food van or me with the yellow top on (Simon). Please do not leave without paying.

Prices for 2026 are as below:
The Gazebos are now charged plus you can choose to take extra space but it means an extra cost - the equivalent of paying as if you have a trailer on the back (or 2 cars space - £10 for a car for example).

Cars £7, Small Vans £8.50 (still), Cars with trailers £10, Small Vans with trailers £11.50, Large Vans £13, Large Vans with Trailers £16, Cars with Gazebos £10, Covered stalls £13, Huge Vans £16. I do charge £8.50 for large cars with pick ups on the back.

If you would like extra space for tables just let me know when I put you in position – it just means paying £10 instead of £7 for a CAR or £16 instead of £13 for a Big Van (£11.50 instead of £8.50 for a small van). Thursdays all vehicles £7 no space restrictions.

Come & sell at the Car Boot from only £7 or buy for FREE.

We are still the best priced on Sundays & still the friendliest Car Boot in Suffolk so come & sell from only £7 (all vehicles) and still free parking & buying & everyone welcome to just turn up and have a look around as there’s so much to do at Stonham.

I've had a few questions about when we actually start. We always used to start at 8am and most people do still turn up at 8/8.30 but, we do get people arriving stupidly early onwards. So, it's really up to you. 7 onwards is sensible. We have enough space for everyone. Earliest arrival is from 5.30am but most sensible turn up from 7am. ON THURSDAY it’s 6AM for earliest arrivals (although we are reviewing times for next year).

We now have a licence allowing all Plant/Bulb Sellers or in fact any Gardening sellers to sell at the Car Boot. So NO RESTRICTIONS at all with any Gardening items. This is great news as I've had to turn so many people away. This is already bringing in a lot more sellers/buyers to Stonham. So, come and sell every Sunday. We are expecting some of the big plant and bulb sellers to start selling soon. Any food, drink and cake sellers will need to contact me as we already have this at the car boot.

The Covered stalls are unique - these offer some shade to sellers as well as a tabletop & protection against wind & rain. These guarantee a main field position near to toilets and food/drinks. You pull behind them, set up and sell and pack up and leave at the end of the day.

Everyone else wishing to sell at Stonham can just turn up on the day. So you can just turn up from 7am and sell and that’s every Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays from March to October & now Thursdays too. We are also lucky to benefit from regular events at Stonham where the Car Boot crowd is often doubled & that’s on top of a very big buying crowd.

Everyone loves Stonham as its unbeatable when the weather is good. It has a great atmosphere and a knowledgeable friendly crowd made up of all ages. Families young and old, dog friendly and it caters for the disabled.

We let Buyers in at the same time as sellers but – please allow me to get everyone into position so please don’t hinder this and please don’t stand behind cars whilst they unload. No one is going to jump in and buy before you as it just isn’t that kind of car boot. The reason we have become so popular is because we don’t have people harassing sellers. If anyone oversteps their mark we will stop buyers entering the field until gone 7am.

We are outdoors only but offer covered stalls.

Stonham Barns Car Boot every Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays and Thursdays too.

Norwich: Part 1 - The Phenomenon Bruno Groening Film + Information Lecture, 5th July 2026, 9:30 to 12:30 at Norwich Unity Hub, Carrow House, King Street,, King Street, Norwich (13 miles)

Part 1
A film offering a story of hope, faith, and personal transformation

In 1949, one name dominated the headlines: Bruno Groening. Newspapers printed special editions. Radio and newsreels covered the phenomenon. Wherever he appeared, thousands gathered in the hope of finding help. At the Traberhof in Rosenheim, up to 30,000 people assembled daily.

Many were not followers, but individuals seeking relief - worn down by the aftermath of war, having received no help elsewhere. They longed to be free from suffering. Bruno Groening offered words of encouragement and spoke of reconnecting to a higher power. He famously said: “God is the greatest physician.”

At the time, numerous individuals described remarkable improvements in their well-being. These reports, widely documented in the media, inspired both hope and controversy.
